Yeah, Russell Brower is the composer for D3. The same guy who did the music for WoW. Guess it's gonna make D3's music a bit more 'epic'?

Well it already looks far more epic just from the boss fight theme, when fighting the thousand pounder and the siegebreaker.

Which is great! Music is another means of immersion that was never fully explored in Diablo, most of the music were sinister dungeon crawling themes which is great, but there was never a cool boss theme. I am really looking forward to hearing more of Diablo3's score.

me alegra mucho de que tengamos al mismo músico para D3, creo que uno de los aspectos más importantes del juego es su banda de sonido

I'm very glad that we're going to have the same musician for D3, I think that one of the most important things of the game its the soundtrack

I'm looking forward to having more music to make boss fights feel more epic, but I hope they keep a similar style for the different areas. I liked what I heard in the gameplay trailer, where it's much more subdued and atmospheric, as opposed to Act V of D2 which was all orchestral all the time :p

this is a great topic, because after so many hours ive played diablo i cut the sounds out, and listen to music instead, wonder how it is to play with game sounds when d3 comes out :D

In games I listen to the music for a few minutes and after that I turn pretty much all the sounds/music off so I can chat on vent while playing :D

I actually liked the way the gothic music in the background was quite quiet, yet eerie. I don't want no stormwind orchestra in my D3.
