Javazon - Vitality Only build. Durable?

I was thinking of making a javazon with nothing but Vitality.
Has this been done before, and if how did it turn out?

I'm thinking of fine-tuning this char by putting on a breast plate enigma, +20 stat anni, titans (adds str + dex) etc etc

Now, the hardest part would be to have the block % up on the shield of choice.

Anyways, any input/suggestions/comments on gear/strategy to get a good viable vit-only javazon would be highly apprcieated.

I'm playing on ladder, if that helps any.

Hello!

What you're going to do is a pretty much a standard javazon build. Most people just go for minimum requirements of upgraded Titan's revenge (107str/151dex), and dump everything else into vit. With 151 dex you'd have a pretty high block as well (with Stormshield).

Hi again. I'm posting an update on this topic.

That's not the point here. The point here is to try and get ONLY I stress ONLY Vit, no str, no dex, no energy.

So Far I have managed to get to lvl 65. I can now use My Breast Plate
Enigma for boast to str. At lvl 70 my Anni kicks in, +17 more to all attributes.
For now I am going to slap on Shako and Mara /Lvl 67) for +7 to all attributes.

Right now my inventory is filled with x8 large charms with +5 to dex, some x5 smc with +2 dex. That's 50 dex right now. I should be able to wear Titans now (forgot dex reqs) that's another +20 str and +20 dex.

As you can see this is quite possible to do. I was merely asking for advices/inputs from other players how they tweaked their build.

I'm also putting on a 20 dex raven, and a rare ring with +19 to str if str is an issue further along the build. Also thinking of putting on eithe rmarrow walk boots or treks.

I'll post an update when I get in the 80's

// cheers Hejhej

or you could be a poison javazon, chance to hit doesn't really matter, and with the max synergy, both at level 20 do about 6k poison damage over something like 10-15 seconds. Just toss into a croud and watch the fun. :thumbsup:
The Vit only char probably has to stick to either a mageazon, valk zon (while wearing only aura and charge benifitial gear for the valk), or poison javazon.
Insane life though.... pvp all the way

it can be done, and it will suck compared to a nice thought out wellplanned build with enough str for upped titans and dex for max block. why pursue a goal like NO STR OR DEX!!!11one when wellrounded chars are so much better? seems stupid to me

Sure it can be done, I'm 42nd lev but without str dex vit or skills, not spending any points. War Javalins do really nice damage and turn up often. I'm sure the hell equiv will be just as effective. I generally use bow, but there were certain specials that really didnt get dammaged unless I switched to the javalin. Lionheart armour will give you +25 str +16 dex plus 50 life amoung other stuff. I like swordback hold as a shield for the open wounds, but if you can get the runes, there's plenty good shields.

I really dont see the point in this. see in place of those +5 dex charms and +2 charms, you can have +20life sc.

for the +5dex, you are putting 5 into vit instead. that vit becomes 15 life for 2x1 of your stash. instead you can have 2x 20 life sc and then that becomes 40 life.

which means you either
1. put 5 points into dex, get 2x 20 life sc. and you get 5 dex and 40 life
2. put 5 points into vit, use +5 lc, and you get 5 dex and 15 life.

the sc are even moer inefficient, +2 dex gives you 6 life. instead you can have 20 from a sc.

so really what you're doing is sacrificing life just to say you have no points in dex/str. becuase claerly, it's more efficient to put points in dex and use your stash space for life charms rather than using dex charms.

this is only for the charms though. for everythign else i think your build works fine.

Lessee...

2 * Raven = 40 Dex
Anni = ~15 (avg)
Cat's Eye = 25
Base Dex = 25
Rare Circlet = ~15
Waterwalks = 15 (Travs = 10)
________

135 Dex attainable with useful gear.

Titans require 109 and add 20, so you can even remove a Ravenfrost and don't have to count on the rare circlet.

LF doesn't require AR, so you don't need Dex for that. If you chose to stick with the dual Ravens and that Circlet, you'll have 155 Dex, which'll be okay-ish blocking. Biggest problem with going all-out with Dex like this is that you'll have to use another shield than Storm, but a Whitstan will also make for a better block %.

// edit : Note, All of this will be attainable at a decent level too, other than the Enigma (which he already has) and the Anni (which is only levels later).
