JavaZon skill question and other stuff.

I'm currently at LEV 63 with about 17 Skill points to spend. I have MAXED LF and with equipment it's at 32 if I remember right. My Valk is also at lev 18 after all the +skills from equipment. I'm using an ACT II Holy Freez Merc. I have a few questions.

1. What other Lightning based skill(s) should I max to increase the damage of the LF?

2. Thus far in NM I'm having no problems putting EVERYTHING to waste, I easly solo Act 4 and 5 in 8 player games. I do think once I get in Hell lev I will have some problems. So, should I Max JAB, maybe Fend or or go with the "Poision" tree and use PJ on them? With my ETH Titans I do pretty good damge, well in NM anyway. (Looking at the guides here I see folks doing one or the other).

3. What "type'" of gloves should I be gambleing to try for some +2Jav, IAS, ML gloves and who sould I gamble them from? At what level should I start to gamble these?

4. It's only taken me 3 days to level to 63 but in all that time I have not seen anything about "selling SOJ's to merchants" message for the Diablo clone to spawn. Have all the dupers sold them all? Is the Diablo Clone a thing of the past? Does this mean I'm gonna have to trade for one and not earn it?

I also wanted to say that in my short time back (I didn't play diabloII for 15 months) it seems folks are a LOT nicer, at least in the Europe Ladder server. I've had so many people give me gear it's crazy. Yesterday I was in a game where I was rushing a low level Barb. I decided to give him my complete Sigon Starter set. He then returns to the game with a Lev 97 Sorc and gives me a Ber/Ist/UM rune. I nearly crapped my pants. Well, I'm glad to be back and playing. BTW, is there any truth to the rumors of a Diablo III?

I must answer again!

1. Well the other synergies like lightning strike, charge strike, lightning bolt give fewe synergies effect to Lightning fury! I maxed CS and LS and working on LB. CS is a nice skill to use!

2. For a pure LF java i would stay away from jab, fend, or poison java! Thats my opinion...

3. Rare gloves are good! But hard to find/gamble/trade! You need some luck!
Crafted hitpower gloves can spawn with +2java or +2 passive skills/20 ias/ 3ML/Knockback/res/str or other stats!

4. Yeah a lot of sojs on NL are sold! Its harder to trigger world event nowdays! Last time I saw a counter was 2 months ago!

Hi - Im no expert but I HAVE tried some different Javazons so I'll give it a try


... and welcome back :clap:

1) LF do not gain much from synergies (its only 1 % each). Therefore you should pick other skills to use the skill itself. I would suggest CS as its good against single targets which LF is not.

2) Light immunes becomes annoying in hell. 1 point in jab is sufficient though. Especially if you have (upped?) eth titans. Basicly you're choice is:
a) Max the other lightning synergies as well (CS, LS). This way CS will become very powerfull and good for boss killing. I have tried this and it works great.
b) Go for poison damage. I havent tried this - so I don't know how good it is.
c) Go hybrid and pick up some bow skills (strafe or cold). I have an ama with max cold/freezing arrow and it works ok.

3) It does not matter who you gamble it from - nor at which difficulty. All that matters is your level. You could also try and craft some blood gloves. Look for res and stats as well. Be as high level as possible.

4) I play on europe too and havent seen the message for months now. And in the 1½ years I've played I haven't met the clone even once :rant:
