javazon build

Hi,
I've searched the forums and developed a pretty clear idea of how i want to build my Javazon. So far i have came up with the following...

Lightning Javazon

-Skills-
~Charged Strike Maxed
~Lightning Strike Maxed
~Lightning Fury Maxed
~Jab 1(For the light immunes)
~Pierce 1
~Evade 1
~Dodge 1
~Critical Strike 1(To help Jab)
~Valkyrie 17 (For the Warpike)

-Stats-
Energy - Base
Str and Dex - Enough to use my end game equipment with maybe a little bit more dex for BR?
Vitality - Everything Else

I'm thinking about going with a Holy Freeze merc as well.

Does this sound about right so far?

Sounds about right for a pure lightning javazon, but what are you going to do against lit immunes? Just jab your way through hordes of them?

Yea, I plan to eventually get Titans (eth hopefully) and then upgrade them. I've heard it works well even with one skill point in jab. Also my Merc and Valk will be there to help me out.
Even still my plan was to be a pure light Javazon and if that means having a little trouble with immunes then so be it.

Well, I currently have a Javazon with a 199% normal Titan.

She kills hordes of monsters with unmatched ferocity using LF, but falters when she has to face single monsters. The damage from jab and Titan is just too low. It takes dozens of jabs just to kill one cow in hell, 1 player. Now imagine having to go through that with dozens of lightning immunes...

I know, I am going to have to put up with that for the most part early on in the game...However I am thinking more toward end game for when i can afford eth-up'd titans and then hopefully LI's will not be a problem.

Lightning immunes in quantity are not a serious problem till maggot lair act2 hell onwards though pit runners have to deal with some too.If playing in the new ladder you will have to be extemely patient or lucky to find or afford an eth titans early on. A shop bought wand of lower resist on swap is a cheap answer to some of the immunes.

You might put a few points into Dodge, since you'll be using Charged Strike on end bosses. Assuming you plan to farm any of them, of course.

The first part of ACT3 Hell is almost all Lightning Immunes. Really annoying ones too, like those blow dart Fetish things. You'll either need a lot of patience, or help from a friend.

Hell Countess runs (and pit runs) are another problem for pure lightning builds: rogue archers are Lightning Immune, and if you get a boss pack with the wrong mods (Extra Strong/Cursed, for instance) you won't want to try jabbing them.

And then (of course) there are the Lightning Zons true bane: Gloams/Burning Souls.

Oh and one I forgot: the Crytaline Passage/Underground river area spawns with a lot of Lightning Immunes, so the Hell Annya Quest can be difficult (you might have to remake the game several times to get the right sort of spawn).

A lot of the time I will be playing with a friend which will either be a hammerdin or a fury druid. However i will be doing alot of soloing quests on my own as well. I guess i am going to have to depend on my merc/valk/jab to kill the LI's although it may take a while...

Thanks for the helpful criticism guys, it's always appreciated. Any other tips would be appreciated as well.

if you ever plan to do any pvp you will seriously regret the points in valk, i would max the other cs synergy

the secret to killing llit immunes is an a2 might merc with a reapers toll or an insight or anything above those in cost

Wont the points in LS (10%) and LF (10%) make CS strong enough for hell act bosses? Or am I completely wrong...
I actually thought about this myself as well...I'm not sure if I want more lightning damage on CS (which would only be for act bosses) and little physical damage (Including Valk). Or if I want to be able to finish off act bosses quickly and suffer while fighting Lightning immmunes... :|

Does anyone know if Valk is really worth it? I've never used one but I have heard it makes a great meatshield for large packs.

Hey, I was thinking of doing the same thing as sarrevok. But I was wondering, would 10-15 points into the poisen jav skills work to kill most LI's? Or would points into FA help more?

Hell creatures have pretty high life regen. I don't know exactly how much but
if you have some +skills, 1 point in poison javelin(longer then plauge javelin) would prevent their regen while you and your valk/merc slowly bring them down.
And it's a pre-skill for Lightning Fury, so you wont lose anything by using it.

I don't think putting 10-15 points in poison skills is worth it unless your planing on maxing both poison skills. They are pretty weak by themselves.
