Jah in Windforce?

Trying to save a few bucks on my ladder Hybrid this season and thinking I might stick a Jah in my Windforce instead of making a Faith. Has anyone had any experiance with this combo? The WF is working OK without the Jah, but when i get to acts 4-5 my chance to hit really bottoms out... Like 60-65%... and it's not working so well... I like to clear out river and wsk for mf/xp/fun but so far the WF is not cutting it. Will the Jah make much difference?

sure it will except vs the monsters you most want it to. have you maxed penetrate and/or put on some +ar gear (charms, rings, etc). jah would help, but to be really frugal about it use something else and save the jah for a faith.

I would never jah a windforce. There are more the enough other options to get high ar.
Try getting some enchant. prebuff from demon limb or use lavagount untill it triggers. Put more points in penetrate or use an act 2 Blessed Aim merc. Or use eth's. -25% monsters defense may be enough for get better cth, and use guide arrows on those monsters where it doesn't work.

P.S. you are a level high enough right? If you're a level to low, there isn't anything you can do, not even jah'ing that windforce will help in that case.

or even better, try getting your hands on a conviction stick for your merc. You're lightning - you are lightning right? - side will get much stronger and get much less immunes and your cth will sty rocket.
P.P.S. what merc are you using at this moment. It ain't faith, and it ain't conviction. What other option are there?

I don't see how the OP is lightning. He never mentioned anything but windforce and low cth.

@ topic

Very cheap options for AR are the angelic rings+ammy combo. Dual ravens if you have it. Higher Penetrate + good dex should be enough.

I don't think WF > GMB faith in any situation actually.

Getting a blessed aim merc is some really bad advice, as if some different socket in WF is going to help more than 250% (dunno) ed from a might merc...

And yeah, level up & get more AR if you do stick with wf. Especially leveling up will help if you already have decent attack rating.

yeah because that might level really helps when you're not hitting anything.

I don't think Jah improves your cth against uniques anyway?

And I'm not so sure which does more dmg (WF+rogue with fanat or GMB faith with might merc...)

The OP already mentioned he's trying to save some bucks by NOT having Faith. Therefore, the suggestions/advices given to help out cth should be something else.

That ain't the question, bot do more then enough damage. The question comes down to what you like (or hate) most about your merc. Waiting for your merc to hit a certain breakpoint and not having an extra tank, or having to wait for your merc to do insane damage and having an extra tank that can be killed by IM.

P.S. Why is every doing so difficult, as I said, you don't have that much options to get ar up high. Pick one and see how it goes, it's not like they are that expensive.

that's what i was saying. you suggested faith saying the ar boost from it was the solution. it isnt.

windforce puts out more damage than faith.

Does enchant stack? And other ar granting area's?

I'm always thinking that enchant and penetrate don't stack, though that's probably wrong.

Those work fine, the only problem is with Penetrate and Blessed Aim using the same state, so one overwrites the other. Probably Blessed Aim, because a passive such as Penetrate is checked less often for existance.
