It's time to discuss the other "leap" bug

Yes, this is about korlic, the leap ancinet.

Has anyone done any reseach on his ability to "lock" you in place while he's leaping?

From my own exp before, it seems only if you casted some sort of magic (can be anything), and you may receive a very short "lock up", usually not big deal at all.

Until today, I have experienced something different. on my pally vs hell ancients. Korlic locked my pally completely in place while he leaped, and it was not a very short one either! I did't have time to run off, before his LA laned, and all I was doing before, was running around, no attack or cast anything. If wasn't my high block, my poor pally will be knocked off by madawc who followed up with the LA (his throw was blocked).

This makes me very interested in this bug. Anyone has more info on it?

I know that if you stick yourself in place with the charge bug, you can unstick yourself by switching to your, well, switch. Maybe this applies here too?

Yea, try using weapon switch quickly (tap 'W' twice) and quickly run off.
Could also try quickly charging in a random direction, that might unstick you (and hope that bug doesnt kick in if you use charge alot.)

W is usually a different skill for me, I changed change weapon to caps lock and J. The caps lock is very useful, since it lights up on the keyboard, very handy sometimes.

If you MP, though, people will get mad at you for TYPING IN CAPS LOCK. That's what stops me from using the Caps Lock, as convenient as it is, as one of the hotkeys.

The little "^" key above Tab is kinda useful for weapon switching, imo.

German keyboard, aka "qwertz", I think. ;) Doesn't really matter what's on the key, does it? I told you guys where it is. :p

I believe that button defaults to "Open Belt" in LoD. Which I never use. But I think it's hard to change the old ways. After using "W" so heavily I don't think I'd ever get used to using another key for it.

W is my #2 skill so I can't use that. A while back I changed my hotkeys from F1-11 to Q-C, keeping only F12 as Town Portal. That really paid off, I think, since I became much quicker.

Doesn't do as much as changing the keys in a game like WC3 but it definetly helps me keep a tighter grip on my char which is essential for my playing style in HC.
