I have a newer computer... 80GB HD, 512MB Ram, and a 2.something gig processor... and I use DSL... and I get lag when I get a game with summoners, blizz sorcs, elemental druids (I don't have a fancy video card or anything though... just what it came with) . It doesn't bother me though... if i'm lagging, I find a corner and sit and suck experience from them... I mean, what else can I do? Eventually, i'm gonna get one of those programs where I can install the entire CD to my HD to make it run faster.... I think that's a problem too.
sometimes its rare that no one complains, so ill complain for them.

actually, the only games that they definatly dont complain, are when i volunteer to make the run. other than that, its usually clan members who complain the most. and when i dont summon, im usually running around the throne room in fear of my life since they are letting all the minion waves run out of control.

Decent gear is preaty vauge. I got a level 55 mojo that is 90% untwinked in HC (I bought a wand on one toon (while hunting for a +3 BS 2 socket wand and muled it over as well as 2 manolds for him, otherwise everything else he has found, bought, or crafted with his own finds.) Nothing really ever touches him and his only summons are 3 revives from his wand and a level 10 Clay.
I'm trying to decide if I want to introduce mages for Hell or boost Nova for, but other wise I've had very few close calls once I got confuse.
A little creativity, a plan, and some skills on your part can easily take the place of godly gear in this game.

If people complain about ur summons in a baal run, just sit behind em & let them do the hard work of killing the first few of each pack, then CE the rest to death for easy exp!

Hmm, speaken of pissen people off, has anyone tried the slowamancer in pvp? I wanna see some char so freaken slow that they can't move at all. Not to mention all the funny things that he will be saying xP

I heard that pvp capped max 50% slow.
I was once in a pubby game and happily helping out with skelly mancer act 4 diablo. there were this zon she goes:
"noob no bone"
I thought what? I use skelly, not bone spell, I dun have bone spear...
"noob no bone, no crap"
then she goes,
"noob necro, your skelly lagging me man, no bone not skelly in this game"
I went like:
"if you have lag and I unsummon all of them you will die even faster"
other joined into the game and we have barb, druid and sin, lighting trap and druid summon futher lag the zon.
just before hitting diablo, the zon have enough, and hostiled me, and the party, in hell!
meanwhile, the lagging zon tried to kill us by multishot.
the sin killed her with lighting trap (probably by mistake).
the sin goes like "if you are lagging, why even try to kill us"
the barb goes like: "what? why did she hostile us"
I said, "my skelly is laging her PC".
barb : "lol just buy a new one then innit"
the zon quited.
