Item stole via in-town teleport hack?

So yeah some dude said drop the item because he didnt think it was real, seemed like a legit request since he was standing far away, then he teleported on top of it and stole it...

Seriously how are people still doing these kinds of things? :S

Never drop anything you don't want to lose.
He could have seen it in the trade screen if he doubted if it was "real".

There is only one rule for Bnet.

Assume everyone in it is trying to rob you and would sell your internal organs given the chance.

Do that and you'll never have this happen again.
