I just have a simple and probably stupid question. Are there any online calculators to find the odds of a boss dropping specific items anywhere? I don't mind getting lots of stuff I didn't expect, but I'm wondering if I'm in the right place to even get what I'm looking for.

Check out ATMA (http://atma.diabloii.net), it contains a drop calculator, which is what your looking for.

Yes, Several. However one of the most useful is an offline prog. Pop over to the Single Player forum, snag the awsomely useful ATMA program from the thread of that name, and drool with wonder at Hakai no Tenshi's thoughtfulness.

Also, there are no stupid questions; only stupid people that stay silent and so learn nothing. By asking the question, you prove that you're one of the smart ones.

By the way, you can only use ATMA as a stash/mule in SP. But the drop calculator will work.
