    Item quality and rarity?

So this may be a dumb question but is there a site that lists like which items are TC 87's and lowere or what not. I know a flavie report can do it, but i just want like a link to a site that i could add to favorites.

Good question, I've often wondered this too, and was too lazy to look.

However, from what I can see, there doesn't seem to be any indication in that link about which items drop with higher probability within a particular TC. For example, IIRC class-specific items have 1/3 the probability (2/3 for assasin claws) of dropping compared to other 'normal' base items in their TC... Or the odds of a SoJ instead of a Manalds for a monster that can drop both and rolls a unique ring...

Does anyone know if this type of info is posted somewhere too?

For most item types, it´s just like you said (compared to "normal" item types):
    - 1/3 the probability for class-specific items (2/3 for claws)
    - 1/3 the probability for wands, staves and scepters

For the set/unique item types where you can have more than one outcome, look at d2data.net and you will find a number called rarity. You get the probabilty by dividing the rarity of the item in question with the sum of the rarity numbers for the possible outcomes. Example: Manald Heal and Nagelring have a rarity of 15, The Stone of Jordan has a rarity of 1. If you find a unique ring with an item level between 39 and 52 (high enough for SoJ to be possible, low enough for Dwarf Star and the others), the probabilty for a SoJ is 1/(1+15+15)=1/31

Has anyone ever noticed how RTB swoops in on requests like these?

    It's uncanny!
