I'm not sure what exactly the value of the plain lite GC is, but I could throw two mal's at you for it. If that would equal an ist in your book.

Perhaps if it had some type of useful mod, but Markus is trading one with a useless +lite dmg mod for gul. Eh, nevermind then. I'll wait till I have purchased some of my bigger ticket items first.
