ISO Absurd builds!?

Dragonscale and Ravenlore for example..

Wizendraw is also a good example.

Need suggestions for weird builds that could/does actually work! : )

Witchwild String is a nice example of a "forgotten" item that actually does work kind of okay.

So hook me up or discuss or whatever, this can be fun ; )

Another excellent build is the mule.

- performs superbly with both dirt cheap and obscenely expensive items... without even being able to equip them
- works with any character class
- average playing skills are enough
- Patriarch at level 1 without ever having left town
- 3 Hellforge rewards, 3 Larzuk rewards, 3 sets of runes from "free prisoner" quest

It's an absolute must for any bnet player. You will probably like that build so much that you will have a few dozens of them.

Dragonscale, Ravenlore, and Wizendraw are not builds. They are items.

C'mon, let me correct it then.. ISO builds that uses the items we usually find "useless".

Wizendraw is quite useful for a Frozen Arrow Amazon.

Edit: Or a Holy Frost Ranger, I would imagine.

Tauntbarb:
Make sure you don't level beyond level 8 but still are able to enter Hell (public pvp) games.

Make sure you got the skill Taunt.
Make sure you have as much frw as you can get on your equipment, the rest is totally unimportant. Run like hell to pick up people's gold when they have died, while casting Taunt as often as your manapool allows it.
Bit tricky but fun to play!

Wind and Storm Barbarian:

Frenzy as the main skill.
--> A must: Dual "Wind" runeword weapons.
Dual "Carrion Wind" rings
Gloves: LoH, Hellmouth, Soul Drainer, Dracul's Grasp
Boots: Infernostride
Belt: Either Thundergod's Vigor or Snowclash
Helm: Andariel's Visage, Delirium, Dream, or Darksight Helm
Armor: Myth, Rain, Gloom, Dragon, Fortitude
Amulet: The Rising Sun, Atma's Scarab, Saracen's Chance

The name of the game here is to get as many Chance to Cast or Cast When Struck effects as possible, all the while, you are using what is considered the most extravagantly worthless runeword in the game.

Have fun.

How about the suicide build? I think that's where you put on a bunch of "cast on death" items and simply run into packs of monsters. Although I think only one cast on death spell goes off when you die instead of like 20...that kind of puts a damper on it. lol

I fear leveling this character will be difficult.

Umm, a Paladin using nothing but Sacrifice as his attack skill. Load up on the life-leech and hope your merc can take down bosses!
