Is too much ctc curses bad?

I'm planning on making a new pally with exile... but I'm not sure what helm would be good for him. I was thinking of Delirium for its curses... but does negate my other curses useless (I already have lifetap from exile and probably Decrep from reapers) since I'll be casting lots and lots curses? Should I just stick with one kind of curse?

thanks

I wouldn't use Delirium for any melee char. 1% chance to cast delirium doesn't sound like much, but it will happen more than you think.

I think it depends how much you rely on your curses or if they are more just a nice little bonus.... if your relying on lifetap for leaching then i wouldn't get anything else to cast curse cause they will overwrite the other curse.

I always wanted to try out my delirium bone visage on a pvp melee char. I'll turn into a doll and then run after my opponent. Of course the other person will say "OMG DON'T KILL IT IT WILL TEH EXPLODXCES".

haha, do you really explode when someone kills you? that'd be great XD

if you have one already, try it out and tell me how goes :)

IMO two ctc curses is too many, particularly when something as useful as lifetap is being overwritten, even one can be trouble when you party with a necro and his amp dmg curses on undead are overwritten by life tap, in such a case it is easier to switch off your cursing item if you only have one

No, you shift back to human form and die. Of course the intelligence of your average b.net kiddie is that of an acorn so they would likely think that i would explode.

thats true, i guess reapers is out for my merc as well :p thanks ^^

hahaha, never seen anyone transformed into a doll be4, haven't even seen the helm in flesh :p... so they do as much dmg as your character? or does it have its only stats and every?

Turning into a bone fetish only allows you to run around and hit people with that huge knife, unfortunately it doesn't seem to do any extra dmg so I believe it's just your regular melee-dmg that is applied :)
I haven't tried all 210 skills in the game but most of them can't be used when shifted either, probably goes for all of them.

All in all, it's a fun helm to use when you get that 1% but it's not that useful.

I think delerium is more of a showy 'look at this' at the begining of .10 than anything. I wouldnt use it on any char... There are better helms. If you are going to rely on life tap [ :grrr: ] you shouldnt have anything else getting in the way.

haha, so bone fetish is pretty useless huh? would be kind of fun to play with for a while though... I always thought the fetishes were quite fast...

I never thought delirium to be useful on casters, seems like a waste since the juicy curse only triggers on strike... ctc on strike only trigger on phsycial damage right? that would be quite useful on a merc actually

thanks for the insight!

The 11% chance to cast confuse is VERY helpful on an act2 merc. It reduces big scary melee or ranged packs into a big disorganized bunch while your merc calmly pokes at them.

hahaha... thats what I thought, would be cool to see them kill eachother while me and my merc take them out one by one :p is the range for confuse big?
