Hey,

I think your thinking about the resistance penalties when you jump up to the next difficulty level.

On normal, theres no penalty. On nightmare, it's -40 resistance, and on hell it's -100 I believe. This means, to get 75 all resist, on their respective difficulties, you would need:

Normal - 75 all resist
Nightmare - 115 all resist
Hell - 175 all resist.

Don't forget the Anya quest, it gives 30% to resistances when you have done all 3 (normal, nightmare and hell) quests.

Bowazons are the hardest characters to get resists for IMO. Especially if we're talking untwinked.

My amazon was loaded up with +resist charms, and all the +to all resistances rings/ammys I could find, just to get her up to around +40 resistances in Hell. Then I started finding some better gear, and that makes a huge difference. Load up on all the charms you can find until you get some better gear to make up for it. And let your valk take all the hits for you.

Always! Valks are one of the best tanks in the game I would say... plus they can just be remade whenever, they make zons very safe IMO. Use her well and keep yourself at a distance always.

I learned this the hard way, after getting pwned countless times. (didn't actually die, but lots of fluxing, old hc habit I don't wanna break) I had 30+ unused skills I couldn't find a use for anyways, so why not?

Hehe... if you didn't know this... hmm original poster... haha. The lvl you should aim for with a Valk is lvl 17. It is just as tanky undeneath this level, though at this level the valk goes through its last equipment upgrade, which I believe upgrades its weapon to a war pike, therefore making a major difference in the overall dmg she will deal. This isn't hard skills however, it can be 17 with +skills to... just keep that in mind.

Oops, too late. Maxed it. Oh well. I needed the extra tankiness anyways. Trust me. ;) (though this is largely due in part to me playing a much more difficult version of the game on single player.) But I'm gonna stop talking about stuff that only applies to d2 mods here, since I doubt anyone here plays em anyways, or cares. I don't wanna be another Artickchan! (sp?) ;)

To the original poster: Sorry for the hijack.
