Is this fc druid ok for hc pvp

hi
are these stats good enough for duelling on hc :)
8300 life
12k fireclaw dam
max block
max dr

I ask because all the guides i see about fireclaw druids they have 18k dam and 10k life.
So u think it will work or shall i rebuild / get other gear ?

Hmm, try to list your gear. That will help a lot, though i don't know what the standards are when it comes to HC.

I doubt it. Remember, HC dueling is all about surviving and there's no such thing as BM. You WILL be sorbed into the ground and juved when they get low on life. Dueling in HC with an elemental based char is suicide.

Looks like a good setup to me.

However,
Dueling in HC = utterly pointless as said. Getting the duel will be hard enough, but even if you do, good luck getting one that doesn't hack up a storm, or go full on BM.

I doubt with that setup you have stacked res, or much at all, so elemental will hurt, or something like hammers, while maybe taking 5-6(?) to kill you, still can and you will not be able to take to many before bye-bye nice gear.

That, and 12k / 6 = 2k. Hotspur's and something else can get you 90-95 FR, which means 100-200 pvp damage, which can further be lowered with a Dwarfstar.

So IMO, i'd use that druid to slaughter monsters, but not for pvp in HC. SC maybe, but not HC.

Try swapping that shealed pb for a gris caddy , that way you still attack just as fast, but deal some physical damage too. Plus it makes that Twack noise which everyone of course mean 25% chance to pwn them ;)

For Melee duels I'd use Cerebus
Casters the Jalas

Open Wounds will also be effective
Beyond that GL , hope you've a looter to camp in your hunting games.

Dueling in HC is not pointless, though I and most others prefer LLD'ing s

Yeah, I guess I shoulda said public dueling. Private with friends, loot, and no charms I can see being fun.

Even then though, I don't think I would ever duel without loot, and with charms. I would want to get my gear back after I lost a duel.

Im not going to duel casters other then elemental druids/ hammerdins, other then that ill only duel melee chars.
Fc druids are were rare in hc, so i hope to take a few by surprise :)
since almost all melee druids are fury druids.
As u said i have to kill fast since its hc, people juvi and mercs etc is allowed, im thinking of getting infinity merc, but that will a kind of ruin the surprise :)

Meh, I still don't think its the best idea. If you are a bear, not wolf, people will assume FC. Even then, getting the duel will be a problem, unless you plan on dueling friends. But then if you duel friends, they will know you're FC. I really just can't see the point of it all for a huge list of reasons.

In the end, unless you vs someone who doesn't hack, you will need to damage faster then they can chicken, or juvie, which can be hard if you deal atm most 500 a shot, with a attack that can be blocked, needs to pass the AR check or dodged due to only range 2.

Against the Windy's, you can't forget about Cyclone armor as well, that takes hit good, along with potential minion stack.

Against Hdin's, you will have to get close, which can be hard to do without teleporting. You won't want to walk through a hammer field. Even then the can Sorb easy, and got nice block.

Against your common melee, you may have to face high def, 75%block, high DR% (ok that shouldn't matter much)

I think its just painful for me to see such gear lost with one slip-up. Do you plan on doing pub's (the few there are) ? With friends? Vs hackers (tppk'ers and the likes) ? This build is awesome for SC, but in HC, i'd say not so much.

thats not actually true. unless HC people are a hybrid advanced race of intelligent people im going to assume pub dueling on HC is the same as softcore, everyone are idiots.
ive had many many people think im a mauler or not even have the the slightest clue to what skill im using.

i still agree with whats been said in this thread is, that being an fc druid wll have a short life on hc dueling. you will forsure surprise a few people and get a handful of kills, but you're going to die much sooner than later and regret spending all this time on your char.

The hardcore people who duel are a super-intelligent breed of uberhackers.

The people dueling in HC are much better than the people dueling in SC. A lot of newbs pop into pubbies to fight up a few in SC, but you don't get that in HC.

You'd die to three unblockable hammers cast at 9 frames. Most hammers will be desync invisible, and the extremely good duelers (the kind that you'd find in HC dueling games) can time hammer launches to converge on a single point, while desynced.

They can set up as many as 4 or 5 invisible hammers and then teleport onto the trapped location. When you run up to attack them, the invisible hammerstorm converges and gg, hit by at least three hammers in 2-3 frames. Even with chickenhack, it's gg.

Not to mention they can tele-kill your Oak sage and then kill you with one hammer.

I duel alot in hc and i know that people can kill me ;)
just wanted to know if i could kill any.
But i tried on my own hammerdin to attack, and i didnt do any decent damage, so im gonna drop duelling with him :(.
