Is there a way for windowed Diablo to not minimize...

I play Diablo in windowed mode, but if I click outside of it the window minimizes. Is there a way for it to just lose focus but not minimize? A lot of time I would click outside by accident, or would like to check my email, etc.

    Thanks.

You don't have to play in window mode to do what you want to (check mail et.c.). Just switch between the programs using Alt+Tab.

If you still want to play in window mode, set your resolution of the screen to 800 x 600, that way Diablo will cover the whole screen. (But when you switch to other programs you will still have 800 x 600, which can be very annoying)

I am not sure if there is such a program, but you would probably need some sort of software application that doesn't let the window unfocus. Not sure where you would look but that program would do it.

Alt-tab would just do the same thing the original poster was trying to avoid. I think they want to be able to do something else outside the window while still being able to see it.

Create a shortcut on your desktop and add a "-w" to the end of it, like this:

    "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w

Wow none of those replies were helpful at all. I don't know how old this thread is but i too have the same problem. I play in windowed mode and want to do other things while still keeping an eye on my Diablo II game. For instance: If someone messages me on AIM i want to be able to reply without having the Diablo II game minimize when i click off of it. I know this works for TFT because i play TFT in windowed mode and can properly click other windows without having it minimize. And playing fullscreen and alt+tabbing defeats the whole purpose of playing in a window in the first place.

Look, I use the search funtion.
Has any solution been found to this problem? Because for the life of me I can't find a legitimate way to do this without those stupid illegitimate programs, and I hate dabbling in that stuff.
