Is PK'ing without using haks frowned upon or encouraged?

I'm considering becoming a PK'er, but I'm to leary of spyware to download haks. So I'm going to go about it the honorable way. Is this bad? I know that its bad for the person I pk, but in hardcore, are you expected to PK? Is that the whole point of it? Please don't be too harsh, I'm kind of new at hardcore.:prop:

lol at that response in the thread. How do you get to hell baal legitly in 10 min? rotfl. He probly meant from act5 town to hell baal... but still he flamed for no reason. Anyway gl pking in hc legitly. If you go up against a dueler youre gunna get owned for a while until you learn how.. and 95% of pvmers arent gunna fight you.. and people are gunna tppk you once theyve seen you hostile other games before. But yea gl.

Being too afraid of Spyware to download "haks" isn't honorable, and as such you will get nothing but contempt from this forum.

If you honestly wanted to try legit PKing because of the rush and the challenge of hunting those 10+ levels above you that would be one thing, but if the only reason you'll play the game the right way is because you don't want to deal with the other hackers attempts to get you, you're no better than a script kiddie.

P.S. just as a heads up, the "PK: Right or Wrong" threads have been around as long as the game, and always end up getting closed because they degenerate into a flame war.

Anyway...I read that blizzard meant for the game to have pk'ing. Hack pk is just not fair obviously. I think legit pk'ing gives you a chance of whether you wanna play "come and get me punk" style. It can be fun however be prepared to get pwn'd and lose your char if you mess up.

I dig on people that can PK in a legit manner. I'd hate to lose my character, so I'd never stick around long enough to see how fast he would deeds to another player.

The people that must use hacks on battlenet...well, they're lame.

Let's see, bait up the hooks, and drag it behind the boat for a bit, and see what we've caught:
A yellow bellied Azazaz
A blue gilled Mouse Wiz
and a large mouthed Baranor

A pretty good preliminary catch. I think I'll troll my bait a little longer and see what I can catch. With any luck I can sponsor a HC forum fish fry.

So when you play Ludo you refuse you knock your opponent home aswell?
After all he spent a huuuge amount of time in getting the little piece so far around the board, and he will be sad if you do it?
