Is it just me or.. was today just a bad MFing day in general? I didn't find one single useful item..not even something I'm -not- looking for (except for Aldur's Stony Gaze). All the runes I found (with the exception of one Thul) were all El/Eld and.. I've been getting killed at every turn (as opposed to usually doing BM/Crypt/Tomb runs unscathed). Eh.. I'm probably just trying too hard, I think.
Today I found ... 2 Verdungos Ali Baba Courpsemourn Lem, Ist, Gul Nos Coil Spire of Honor ...and a bunch of other 'okay' things that I can't remember at the moment. How much MF did I have? 38 from Gheeds! :lol: You just had an unlucky day. I've had plenty of them myself, so I know how you feel. What areas do you run in a typical MF game? I usually do Countess/Pit/Andy/Lost City Dungeon/Act 3 Temples/Meph/River of Flame/Chaos Sanctuary/Eldritch & Shenk/Pindle/and the entire Worldstone, including Baal. Turns up some nice items if you're persistant.
I didnt find much today either, but I don't mind. Some days are amazing, so there's gotta be slow days to balance em out.
I just do Black Marsh (for some lower end stuff/runes), the crypt & the mausoleum. I haven't beaten A1 in Hell yet 'cos, well, it's tough for me, heh.. so my options are pretty limited at the moment.
I got Ghostflame (unique legend spike) in The pit. The first good thing I've found in weeks. A friend found 2 Leviathan, Grandfather and Earthshifter in Ancient tunnels. I want to hit him.
Not many good finds this week doing MF runs after work (yes I still do MF runs even if I buy on Ebay) and tonight after watching "Cold Mountain" with my lovely wife, I start pounding on Mephi -- nothing good, blasted Pindle, there you go a Shako drops. (Good karma for dating the wife). This is not the place for trade ads so just make a post on the USEast trade forum that you're looking for a Shako and I'll take a look.
