    Iron Golem. Wow.

I made an iron golem recently from a delirium and to my surprise he is really tough which is weird since hes only at lvl 25 and golem mastery and summon resists at 25.

My question is, if I BO that iron golem, is his life increased from his initial life (before the golem mastery applied) or after?

The skill shows that the iron golem has 6k life (before BO). So after BO, it might be somewhere in 10k region (if extra life is added after mastery is applied).

Also, is he actually immune to lightning? the summon resist gives 69 (or was it 68) to all resists. Ive heard that iron golem has initial 50 lightning resist, so that would practically made him immune to lightning (i know hes immune to posion as well).

With a simple crappy 2 socket shield with a P-Ruby and Sapphire and Summon Resists at level 12, an Iron Golem will be completely elementally immune.

Beware the conviction enchanted boss pack, if you're resists are just over 100 they will lose the immunity.

Why 25 in summon res? how many hard points is that? just seems a big waste of any hard skill points. (1 and +skills does me fine).
And iron golems can be fun, getting them immune to all is funny, although there arent many things to make it out of what gives him immunity and good damage.

Yeah, get all those resists over 130 and not even a maxed out conviction aura will be able to break it. Around 145 and not even a maxed conviction + LR will break it.

edit: oh and missed that BO question. AFAIK BO effects all minions just like they do players so that should work if your numbers are right.

I put one in iron golem and summon resists.

they are at 25 coz of +skills.

I hardly see the iron golem's life dropped (so far it has never dropped even 1%).
not sure why, coz before when i made him out of insight he was weak...

but he was lvl 17 back then.

No. You would need to find an item that has 100% PDR since IG doesn't get any PDR on his own.

ah, so it would be difficult/expensive getting as high as possible... but would it affect the damage thorns put out?

It would affect the damage output, but the IG's thorns affect is pretty laughable in Hell anyway due to monsters having such a huge amount of HP compared to the amount of damage they do. Highest you could get is 43% from a Storm Shield socketed with Ber I think and that's just a waste. If you want damage return, the IG is ironically not the best choice. You can get much higher damage return on any other golem using Bramble and Edge.

Seriously, Ive never seen the iron golem's life dropped even a tiny bit. Its so strange.

Noone has answered my question still. If I BO my iron golem, does he gets the extra life after the golem mastery?

Also, does anyone know how fast life regeneration of an iron golem?

IIRC he gets the life bonus after Golem Mastery.

That would be 1365.33 frames from empty to full health, which is 54.61 seconds.

Haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking forward to giving Hwanin's refuge a shot for the 10% chance of static shock when hit.
