    Iron golem question

If I make an iron golem out of an unided rare, will the golem take the properties or just the unided ''plain'' version of the item?

I can't confirm that the game would let you create an Iron Golem out of something un-ID'd.... since I've never tried it.

But my heart tells me that even if it would let you, the game knows exactly what the item's stats are, ID'd or not. The stats were decided upon the rolling of and dropping of that item, and it is merely waiting to be revealed by the identification process. So assuming you can make the Golem, it would use the stats that the game already knows are rolled onto that rare.

You can't create an iron golem out of an unidentified item (I have tested this in-game).
