Iran's President Wants Debate With Bush

Now this I would pay to see!!! Never mind UFC fights...this would be great!

I can just imagine the debate:

Ahmadinejad: You are a facist state, hell bent on world domination.
Bush: I know you are, but what am I?
A: You provoke wars to further business interest, regardless of civilian casualties.
B: (Pressing earpiece further in ear) Umm...If you're not with us, you're against us!
    A: You're right! I am against you!
B: (Pressing earpiece even further in ear) Um, you are aiding the taarwrists.
A: You are the ones terrorizing the world! Explain how you are helping!
B: (Breaks earpiece from pressing too hard, starts to cry)

I think this would be a great idea. I saw Ahmadinejad on 60min, and while a lot of what he said was rhetoric - it was no moreso than what I see coming from the White House. I think this would have a lot of merit...

Ahmedinejad vs. Bush would be embarassing for Bush because of his complete linguistic incompetence

Ahmedinejad vs. Cheney would be much more interesting since Cheney seems to have a hard-on for destroying them

I'd definately watch Ahmedinejad vs. Cheney.

Of course, I'd watch Ahmedinejad vs. Bush too, if only out of a morbid sense of curiosity and to see how many times he says nook-you-ler during the conversation.

Let's do it! Get Wacky Macky there first, let him meet and greet the EMOcrats, then hit it with a MOAB.

Yes, it would be a farce...but only because of Bush...

Funny - rereading the headline without a capital 'B' would probably be just as informative.

As for Cheney - yes, that would be a better debate, but um, isn't...Bush...running...the..country...:banghead:

Oh - and hey Saro.

I love watching Cheney debate, he's a bulldog. I would pay to watch him debate Ahamandanakha1.

Couldn't have said it better. But I don't think W is quite as bad as his stereotype. He didn't do all that badly against Kerry in the presidential debates.

lol. Debate or negotiate? In which case, the Kerry/Bush debate was debating with a terroist nation!

Granted, Bush did not do badly against Kerry - but he was a spluttering idiot half the time...the presidential debates were not exactly a model of debating!

Political debates are never a model of debating.

Not to mention, there's nothing for Bush and what's-his-name to debate.

If it was minus the 'eb,' then I'd pay to see it.

How could he not? If Kerry had any less of a personality he'd be wearing a toe tag, not that Bush is a master debater nor good in front of the cameras himself. But even though he doesn't have a "winning" personality at least he does have some assemblance of one and in our day and age of cameras, and low quality of candidates on both sides, that's all it takes to win a debate.

O.T.: It'd never happen as Bush has nothing to gain from the debate, On the other hand he has nothing to lose either. It'd be nothing more than a joke though, they'd debate then both would walk away learning nothing about the other one while proclaiming victory.

I just think that it would be a fantastic thing for the US public to see! Another side to a story...
