    Ipod Backgrounds?

    Hey there

I was wondering if ipods could have backgrounds, you know kind of like a desktop? (In my case, Ipod nano) A background behind where you can select music / photos etc. Anyone know how? What program(s) you need or something? A link would help too...

AFAIK it can't be done. It would require mucking around with system files, so iPod Linux may do it.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

iPod Linux is basically Linux on your iPod, you can do some nifty things like record stuff and play some games. However it tears up the hard drive in your iPod and generally isn't a good thing unless you are a major geek.

You might be able to do it, but it would involve hacking the firmware and maybe hosing the iPod. Also it makes the text hard to read and accomplishes nothing. But you might try asking over here:
