Introducing Patriach Father_Karras

Hehe, love the redundancy of "Patriach Father". :)

Father_Karras the fanatic zealot just breezed through the second half of Act 5 Hell. Ancients? No problem. Three super healing potions used, that's all, no close calls, and my merc managed to kill Madawc while I was still mopping up Korlic. WSK? Easy maps and monsters for levels 1 and 2, and level 3 had Oblivian Knights... but also both sets of stairs almost on top of each other, so they got skipped. :D Very easy monster mix in the Throne (Assailants, Pit Lords, and Claw Vipers) and none of the minon packs were a problem. Once Lister died, I went back to town to put away my Lightsabre and grab Sazabi's sword, upped the /players to 4 so I could get eliminate Baal's no-drop and have a shot at getting something decent. Baal himself was no problem, with 5 super healings and a full rejuv consumed and one trip back to town to revive the merc, and the /p4 paid off. :winner: I'm especially impressed with that since I had next to no MF on.

Final stats (after gear)
- clvl 87 (I paused for a long while doing Countess runs with this guy, and that will be his future role because of his versatility against the monsters in the Tower)
- STR 159
- DEX 158
- VIT 275
- NRG 22
- Resists: all 90%

Final Skills (after +skills)
- Zeal, Sacrifice: 26
- Holy Shield: 23
- Vengeance, Holy Bolt, Blessed Hammer, Smite, Charge: 7
- Fanaticism: 24
- All other offensive auras: 5
- All defensive auras (except individual resists auras): 4

Final Gear
- Rockstopper
- amulet with resist all, MF, straight DR
- Lightsabre (socketed with Amn)
- Goldstrike Arch on switch
- Guardian Angel
- HoZ (socketed with Pdiamond)
- Laying of Hands
- ring with LL, straight DR, resists
- Raven Frost
- String of Ears
- Goblin Toe
- charms with resists, +skills, +life

Other gear used frequently as the situation demanded: Gravepalm, Venom Grip, Witchwild String (VERY handy on the rare corpse retrieval runs since it gave me some offense and resists while taking up only one equipment slot).

Overall, this may have been the most fun character I've played since he was a challenge without being weak. I know my damage output was rather low, but I could take a lot of punishment unless compltely swarmed. The wide range of skills also let me handle just about any situation without having to worry or spend more time drinking potions than fighting. :)

Congratulations and have a few on me. :drink: Any favorite memories with old Damian?
Just screaming at Andariel "YOU ARE NOT MY MOTHER!" ;)

@ whomhead: I would, but I think I'd only frustrate myself because most of those runs would net nothing but breast plates and long war bows to make up for Baal's earlier generosity. Still, it may be worth a shot. I'll put that on hold until after I Mat my current LF/CS zon (who is finding Act 3 of Hell to be one big LI and is trying to make it through on a wimpy Jab :( )

You know, the more I think about it, the more amazed I am at that drop. With my pitiful MF% at the time, that thing would've been more unlikely to get than Bob's Uber Light Mana Potion of 1337n355. Especially since it was literally the first Sacred Armor I've ever seen drop that wasn't a normal item. I should play the lottery. :bonk:
