Intro

Hello everyone!

I've been on these forums for a while and I've posted here in the SPF a few times but I've never made a proper introduction thread, so here it is.

My name is Zach and I've been playing this game on and off for a few years. I played the original Diablo way back in the day as well but I haven't really ever had the urge to go back. DII, however, keeps drawing me in over and over.

I've had countless characters over the years but my favourites are Assassins and Druids; though I've played a my fair share of Sorceresses as well. I enjoy playing strange builds and my attention jumps between different characters often. I've got probably a dozen characters on the go at the moment and I'm adding new ones to that all the time.

I'm a Canadian, born and raised, and I live on the eastern side of the country in the province of Nova Scotia. I graduated from high school last year and I am just passing the time until I embark on a youth volunteer program in two months. That's all I can really think of putting here for now, so I guess I'll just leave it at that.

Welcome to the forum. Here is a pair of shin guards with goalie pads and 12" concrete blocks attached. They are a little heavy but they do the trick. W_m should be along with the patented goodie basket. You seem to know what is going on around here so I expect you'll be getting extra cookies.

Stop by the EMB sometime and have a beer on me.

Welcome!

I'm exactly the same way about character focus. I have none. I think I actually have about 12 characters running atm, as well.

Anyhoo, what kind of work will you be doing on this volunteer program?

Howdy hey!

How's the weather up there? :p I've been wanting to take a trip up there for a few years now, even considered moving up there once. Welcome to the SPF, enjoy your stay. :)

And, I'm not completely sure what I'll be doing, I actually don't find out until I start the program. I'm going to live in three communities across Canada for three months each and whatever the community wants done is what I'll do. I will be living in a house with 11 other people doing the same thing and we all stay together for the nine months so it is going to be a pretty cool experience. The program is called Katimavik if you were interested in looking up more information on it.

The weather is great, haha. Of course it's raining right now but it has still been pretty nice. You should definitely take a trip here, it's a pretty popular place for people to travel to.

Hi! Welcome.

I have a different view with characters. I like to refine them. I've made 4 Tri-elementalists and I'm finally happy with the last one. The others I've deleted. I made a Hammerdin which happens to be the only Pat that I have. That one doesn't need to be improved because it's overpowered.

Good luck with the youth volunteer program.

Welcome! Here's that goodie basket of baked goods and squid repelant. Don't mind the shin kickers, they mean well.

Be sure to read the SPF FAQs, check out the EMB, and enjoy these extra cookies for such a good intro.
