Well I know atleast a dozen people on this board I could track down to a house or apartment if I wanted to but none of them are the ones I would be interested in killing.

I blame El Nino. El Nino changed the weather so the kid couldnt' be sure if it was safe to go outside and that made him insane and he posted online and got annoyed and went out and shot the guy.

See, you can blame El Nino for anything

I like how the guy who did the killings is on the initial message board bragging about it and getting caught up in flame wars.

I smell a way to get people to tune into their broadcast. No one behaves this way.

I'm thinking the same thing Dutch...

I mean, the mods had the conscience to close the thread containing the initial argument; yet they don't ban the murderer and even argue with the murderer themselves??? That just cried fake to me.

I would believe that the crime actually happened... I do not believe that the "Bruce" in the forums is the killer. It's just some standard-issue troll, perhaps created by the network, pretending to be the killer.

Of course it's a hoax. Look at the URL. It's not news.bbc.co.uk. Look at the headline, since when is 2 killings a "mass murder"?

 the whole story was fake. the "bbc article" is on the guy's website that made the thread. i was hoping a few more people would fall for it before anyone figured it out. oh well.

*is an ace at spotting fakes*

I just read snopes.com too much. And I'm too skeptical.
