Insight: which variable mod is more important?

So I made my first Insight on an eth colossus volgue yesterday. I got like

    207 % enhanced damage,
    level 15 meditation aura
    and +6 critical strike.

Do you think these variables are good enough to keep? thanks!

I think that the CS oskill bonus if the most important variable. If your merc doesn't get any skill bonuses (and only +all skills and +CS would add to that bonus), the chance for double damage from L6 CS is higher by 30% than at L1 and by 29% when comparing L3 with L8 e.g. because of wearing Andy's.

... which I don't understand at all. None of my sorcs ever runs out of mana if she has a merc with Insight... well maybe after one minute of spamming fireballs or chain lightning, but that happens very rarely.

I'm just playing PvM, but Insight isn't an issue in PvP, right? Mercs are useless on PvP AFAIK and everybody drinks mana potions because you cannot be caught at that and only red and purples aren't tolerated, correct?

i know for MLD casters (and most of those chars are casters) an insight merc is a must, specially since those duels can be long and even 16 big blue pots won´t cover the needs.

i´m not sure either why that is, but i suspect those hdins won´t let anything stand long enough anyway for the merc to even attack it most of the time, so the only really mod that makes sense for these chars is the aura.
also i don´t know how much the difference is between each lvl of the aura, but i know, that specially with small mana reservoirs and low insight lvl i ran out from time to time, compared to a high insight aura, when i didn´t.

IMO none of em really matter since the differences are so negligeable. The ED and CS aren't a priority since your merc is basically just a walking aura generator and shouldn't even get to fight much... and the meditation lvl is only for resale value; you most likely wouldn't even notice a difference between low and perfect roll as even the base lvl is incredibly effective.

I know it's not quite the question, but valuewise the most important variable is the base weapon, then probably the medi aura.

Even a "walking aura generator" has to stay alive, and more damage means more leech, so I'd say high damage roll first, high CS lvl as a close second. Depending on the char meditation aura isn't that important.

It's a good weapon for untwinked play as well, giving great damage and nice extra mods for easy to find runes. Works wonders on zerker barbs :) .

Sorceresses who hit the 105 faster cast rate or 200 faster cast rate cannot infinitely cast non-timered damage spells with a low insight. The main difference I see in having a higher meditation is how long it takes to get going again when manaburned. With an empty blue orb I can't spit out 8 frame per cast fireballs right away. with low insight you can always tele away immediately, but then it takes longer to kill the mob as you need to wait for the mana to regen before your non-timmered spells come fully back online.

    Hmm, from http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5784347#post5784347:

I'm not sure if that refers to passive skills as well. AFAIK passive skills work on mercs and they can get them only through oskills.
