    Info on Hunter?

I've heard of this type of build before.
I know it revolves around using a bow, usually along with summoned wolves.

Can anyone point me to a link of some sort or give me any info on this build?

    Thanks guys.

The only guide that I know of concerning Hunters can be found either here or here. It's intended for 1.09, but still provides a decent basis for a 1.10 Hunter build.

I am doing a hunter atm. so I'll give some basic info(although FenrisWulf's guide is excellent).

Have elemental damage charms. If you happen to meet a physical immune, you(and you're merc) will be the only possible damage sources that can destroy them. Easier way to counter them will be Amplify damage on you're(or you're merc's) gear.

If you want to have some other skills also, the place to save points would be spirit wolves. This will leave the summons with less defence and attack rating, but according to one member, they(he used dire wolves) will still hit monsters in hell.

    Happy hunting!

Agreed with Beowulf; this is the character that I'm currently running through HCL (clvl 71, no deaths yet :)). I maxed both Volcano and Fissure, and have about 10 points invested in both Oak Sage and Dire Wolves. Accidentally wasted 6 points in Molten Boulder...d'oh. At the moment, I'm working on getting Grizzly as high as possible. It works well, but my items aren't quite set for Hell, methinks (need more +skills!), and I'd rather not risk NM Baal just yet anyway. :p

    @prion:
Act II NM Offensive, ie, Might Merc. Once I switch to using Grizzly and Fissure (I'm on Volcano + Dire Wolves right now), this should be quite handy in giving me a few good sources of Physical damage.

    skills

Would it be worthwhile at all to use poison creeper in this build?
Or are they just way too weak to be an effective counter to phys. immunes?

I prefer using volcano much more then a posion creeper especially since I use carrion to get life back.

If you wan't to have a poison creeper, you could use the carrion wind ring to try it out.

The poison creeper doesn't do good damage to single monsters(physical immune unique), but it is reasonably effective against non-undead non-poison-immune monster mobs.

You could also consider arctic blast. Since you probably will want to pump cyclone armor(gloam defence) anyway, arctic blast with one full synergy might be worth it.

Arctic blast is pretty much useless on a hunter since he will be using his bow.

Question: Does the % Increase Poison Skill Damage on Bramble appy to the Poison Creeper? Or does the game treat it as a minion? Also, I f you have Bramble, can you have two spirits active at the same time? One from you skills, and one from the charges on Bramble?

Not sure about the poison creeper question but I know you cannot have 2 spirits active at the same time which sucks!!
