infinity or insight

i have infinity on my merc, now this is supposed to break immunities, but it seems like the physical damage from my titans kills the monsters just as fast without it. Alas would the insight runeword keep my bulbs full? it always seems like i have to drink tons of blues with lightning fury, even with mana leech...... would the insight keep my mana full constantly? i noticed that on my sorc that when using frozen orb attack or teleporting that the insight on her merc makes the blue bulb never budge and am wondering if this would work on my zon as well.As well i know insight is a heckuva alot cheaper to make for an average person.
and secondly i hope they change the synergies for lightning fury to get higher than 1 percent per synergy point. It seems like such a waste sometimes.

Mana regeneration also depends on the amount of mana you have, so the Insight might not work very well on an Amazon.

As for the immunity-breaking: when applied to an immune, the resistance breaking skill (Conviction, Lower Resist, Amplify Damage and Decrepify) work at 1/5th their normal value. As an example: if the skills says -50% resistance, it will only remove 10% from an immune monster. If the monster is at 110% or higher it will remain immune. In the best case, with the monster being at 100%, it will be at 90% after the breaking --- still a high resistance.

However, *after* the immunity is gone, the non-breaking -%enemy resist items kick in at their full value.

- Insight works well with Javazons in general. I've tried it and it sure helps mana issues with LF. But then you lose the wonderful bonus from Infinity.

- if you have mana issues, use ethereal upped Titans for more damage (=more leech)

- some people consider Phoenix shield for their Javazons. It gives you Redemption aura which recovers about 80 life&mana from each corpse.

Neither of the runewords have life leech and both can do enormous damage in the hands of a high level merc but I think Insight is best placed in an exceptional etheral polearm to get through Nightmare mode where mana shortage can be problematically for a LF using zon.

The previous poster is right about the physical damage of a good titans at higher level and a simple wand of lower resist cast across all the visible LI enemies works far better than a localised effect when throwing LF.

Ever since blizzard let you buy mana pots at vendors, mana is no longer a problem for even an untwinked LF zon
