Infinity and Crescent moon

Well there is the option of weilding Infinity straight off getting the -55% light res and the confiction aura. But there is also the option of using Crescent moon for -35% light res and having infinity on merc.

Wondering what would make my light skills do the most damage, using Crescent moon i could also use a shield for extra skillpoints or resists etc.

Also there is eschuta's, carries +skills that infinity and crescent don't have, carries FCR and also +20% light damage.

I imagine -% res to enemy counts for more than +% damage to spells since i'll already have maxed light mast.

Atm i am leaning towards using Crescent with lidless or spirit.

Also, i am planning on going pure lightning (maybe 1 point in warmth) so what would be the skills that does the most damage, regardless of my choice i will have Lightning maxed since it is synergy for CB and CL, but i cannot decide on which of those two to go for.

Using crescent moon you will reach the 105/117 FCR break point easier because of the spirit/lidless (i like spirit, it have more goodies)

I know that you are going for pure light, but are you going to use energy shield? If you are goin pure vita you can max all 3.

1 Warmth
1 Shiver Armor (+1 pre req)
20 Charged Bolt
20 Lightning
20 Chain Lightning
20 Light Mastery
Telekinessis
Teleport

You should be done at lvl 75. Than you would have 2 options, Max Nova for a boost on lightning and CL dmg and having a very fun skill to play with (i really like nova, it is very fun) the other option is to max telekinessis (but you would have to drop a few points of CB ou CL for the energy shield pre reqs, assuming you are not going over lvl 95.

Chain Lightning is a very powerfull option for crowd control, it kills a lot of monsters pretty fast, Charged bolt is also good for crowd crontroll, but not as much as CL. Charged bolt is better for bosses, due it´s higher DMG if you get really close to the monsters (then you would need a Tank merc)

If you want to use the sorc for bosses max charged bolt, if you want to kill a lot of stuff fast max chain lightning.

My person option would be maxing Nova, Lightning, Chain Lightning, Telekinessis, one point in energy shield, one point in charged bolt, one point in shiver armor and the rest of the points in warmth, teleport or even static field for bigger range

I believe this build has maxed thunder storm instead of chain lightning

Cresent Moon is certainly a nice pair with Infinity. Just be aware that you still reach 117% FCR for that nice breakpoint of L and CL.

I would also dump all the points into Nova.

Ok, thanks.

Going to go with the normal skill progression, maxing lightning until i can do CL and then get that to 20 and then max LM and then continue with the synergies, finishing with Nova
