this is an extract from blobs guide:

"7 in increased speed after + skills is the fastest you can move while retaining 3 hit checks per ww for a side whirl.

inc speed makes your desync whirls better

also, there is a certain radius where whirling to the other guy is faster than teleporting and then whirling. inc speed makes that radius bigger.

inc speed lets you hit zons and assasins alot easier

inc speed lets you walk out of bone spirit trails after golem slow

inc speed makes your triangle whirls faster and more desynced. alot of people have said i hack ww or something cause my triangles are whirled faster than the server can keep track of, and so i appear to stand next to them and they die; this is very useful for not getting hit while whirling."

there it makes it look like you want 7 inc speed after all +skills, not any higher, which pretty much means you can't use a torch? is this correct? and what do "hit checks" mean?

did he actually mean 7 base skills?

any help on this would be appreciated? ie: how much in increased speed should i have after +skills?

EDIT:

just checked his guide again, and it seems like he actually meant 7 base skills, and the most amount of +skills he would have on at one time (with doomz's out) is 11, so total level of 18 with 75 frw is the most he had, which he reconned was the best you can get.

The outside added FRW does not matter.

Skill FRW adds more than item added FRW. The target point is to have 39% or 40% FRW on Increased Speed.

5-6 base points will reach this.

Now, I cannot give you a definite answer, as I have no bloody idea of how skill FRW or any FRW works (as in does it multiply the FRW by the set percentage, and what's the starting speed (yards/second) and so on).

Well, Blobs said that his 7 points (which btw hits exactly 40% with his gear) is the optimal speed for certain reasons:

Imo it would have to be 40 not 39-40 because FRW hits a new breakpoint after every 5 frw.

and i can say the same about jsp and be equally correct/wrong.
as already said both have idiots and i am sure both have decent people but it sounds like you have some personal reason for ep whining.
btw i have never seen a buckler of deflection offered on ep as a godly low level shield yet (it received quite a few offers)

what makes you assume i'm fond of jsp? i thought my first post was crystal clear but no...
problem with ep is that they dont evolve, even their top duelers are a year behind the rest of the world knowledge-wise. of course i dont hesitate to piss on their egos when given opportunity.
