Hi Guys,

Will there be an Inc Gamers Guild?

I am kind of getting excited for RoS, and it would be cool to be in an Inc Gamers guild with ALL the players there, always someone around to play with.

Since D3 came out I have been playing solo for like 95% of the time simply because of efficiency and because the handycap (monster health and dmg) increases to much especially at high MP.

I don't see why not. It really depends on how much is involved and what infrastructure is put in place by Blizzard. As for a name I'm leaning towards The Pink Ladies. Who's with me? Guys? Guys?

Great to hear about the possibility of an IncGamers guild, I would be in it instantly (assuming i would be accepted lol).

However, we have to debate the name for sure :p

"D3IncGamers" sounds good enough for me, I mostly care about the people in it and the good times ahead! :D

I'm wondering how long it will take for someone to create 'The Lollipop Guild'!

Also, I don't know how many Magic: the Gathering players frequent this forum, but on that similar note, I always kind of wanted the Lollipop guild to be the hidden, eleventh guild of Ravnica.

If the dev's naming decisions are any indication, Nephalem is in vogue this year. I sure as hell don't want to be a Pink Lady. :)

Seriously though, we need to come up with a name that's unique to this site in some way. Maybe some kind of in-joke? I can't think of anything.

Guilds and Clans are interchangeable, they are exactly the same thing in the context of games.

We've been running an INC guild on the RoS beta and PTR, though it got erased with the patch and had to restarted. You only see the abbreviation name and there aren't many guild powers yet, but hopefully throughout the beta more will be added. I favored D3INC for the guild name, since I think you only get 5 letters for the shorthand, but I think elly's going with INC for the final.

Presumably we'll have to do separate ones for EU and US servers, though the RoS beta and PTR are on the same server for now.

I guess that there is no official (Blizzard) control over these, so whoever gets in first and creates "INC" or "D3INC" or whatever will be the owner of the Clan/Guild/Community. I foresee "INCR" for "Diablo 3 IncGamers Real", after someone makes "INC" before Elly once the final game is released.
