Blocking. Faster teleporting. Kill them before they can hit you.
An above average pally that desyncs you with charge usually means the end of the duel for a lot of characters.

Basically, avoid getting hit in the first place. Use the landscape to your advantage like hiding behind a rock. Charge can only move in a straight line.

IMO, blocking is the best way to help yourself stay alive. Some teleporting methods include teleporting in and out of a house, or pass walls. They the Paladin will no longer be mouse-locked onto you.

Landscape is the key, unless you use it well he'll just keep the clicklock on you and eventually you'll die. Get to an area with a lot of pools, bushes or if there's a wall box use it's cornors. For instance, if you teleport to the other side of a pool, the pally will usually have to notice it, manually move to the other side and click you again, during this time you can attack. Just for the record, it sounds easy in writing, accomblishing the landscape use is quite another thing, takes a lot of pratice.

FHR is a little bit helpful, but chances are, if he gets one hit on you, you'll be dead in one hit anyways.

Yes, the knockback on the charge is what will kill most, after being knocked back the pally will continue click-lock meaning that you will keep getting charged. Even with high FHR its still quite hard to get out. With high damage chargers, you can only take 1-2 hits. Chargers are hard, and remember its better to take a charge when you are close to a wall so that he can't continuously use charge.
