    Imbueing Items

Do you guys still do it? If so, what items do you imbue? How are the results?

    Circlets (and Circlet family)
    Ethereal Crystal Swords/Ethereal Dimensional Blades
    Druid Pelts
    Assasin Claws

You might as well do it. It's not like not using it gives you an advantage.

Usually I get crap (same with all other people), but once in a while, you'll hit a jackpot.

    Re: Imbueing Items

Actually I just remembered a post by Orphan saying only Diadem's retain there magic level when rerolling, so those are favourable over others I'd say. I think you can add Barbarian headgear to the list as well, they can get some nice BO mods too right?

I was curious though as for what mods to aim on a Druid pelt.

    Re: Imbueing Items

I know some people wait until their 80s to complete quests like the imbue or forge, they say their character level makes it possible to get better stuff.

One person told me there aren't many great unique belts, so those were a good thing to try imbueing.

ilvl = clvl+4. Diadems are special in that due to their qlvl and magic_lvl, they can get any affix at any ilvl.

    Re: Imbueing Items

There's a bunch of items that can get the highest affixes even when imbued by a level 8 character. Ghost glaives and winged harpoons (ethereals included) can sometimes get very useful stats and can outshine even a Titans but are very rare indeed. I usually run two tweaked imbue characters that can run from the rogues camp to the smith and kill him in even an 8 player game.

Well, its a break from clearing pits , key running etc....and I dont usually trade in high runes.

Diadems, of course, can be rerolled with skull formula almost indefinitely and can be one of the most valuable items in the game with good stats.

    Melee:
    2 Druid Skills
    Visionary
    2 Open Sockets
    10 FHR
    40 Life
    Fury/Rabies/Fire Claw/Lycanthropy/Werewolf/Werebear/Spirit

    Caster:
    2 Druid Skills
Fire Resist/Lit Resist/Visionary (some people like white > green)
    2 Open Sockets
    10 FHR
    40 Life
    Tornado/Hurricane/Cyclone Armor/Bear/Wolves/Spirit

True, but you can craft belts, you can't craft circlets.

    Re: Imbueing Items

I think I misunderstand part of this. I thought you couldn't imbue an ethereal item, it had to be normal (white text) or possibly superior, or broken/damaged. Are you saying after an imbue, the item may gain the ethereal quality? Never seen that before, must be rare.

    Re: Imbueing Items

    You can imbue ethereal items.

If you imbue an ethereal item, it will remain ethereal (not so true of crafting or re-rolling). It's impossible to gain 'etherealness' from imbueing if it started non-ethereal (it would also piss a lot of people off - woot, I imbued a +2 Random/20 FCR/20 Res/2os - oh wait, it's ethereal :x).
