Hello people this is Eric, I have played diablo 2 for a couple of years and diablo before it (havent played diablo 3 yet due to the always online feature as my internet is not so great

)and i love this game a lot, though mostly single player and LAN with a couple of friends as my internet is not so good and all, so coming to the point, the act 5 has made the D2 story somewhat complete with the destruction of the wordstone and the victory over Baal, and the LoD has really made the game more fun, but wouldnt it be awesome if we got more to an already exhilarating story. Though i dont know what Blizzard plans for D2, i am happy with the new 1.13 patches and all.
So as a fan i imagined a small act for Act6 that is similar to Act 4 with 3 quests, and the story starting with our character meeting Natalya (the assassin who disappears in act 3 after we kill mephisto) who is injured from a fierce fight on our way back from Harrogath. And from her we get to know about strange phantom spirits that ambushed her party and killing everyone else except her and stealing an artifact that was sacred to her order and vital to her mission. hence we gain our first quest from her to retrieve the artifact and hunt down the phantom spirits that plagued her party. I imagined the environment to be like a dark pine wooded grooves and rugged terrain and we hunt down the phantom spirits and retrieve the artifact as we track it down to a ruined castle where we find some old tomes and a strange magic shard. Then we meet up with Natalya on a nearby base of her order where assassins devote themselves to training and is also a place for resupplying and information.
After returning the artifact and getting the reward, she directs us to take the strange shard to their matriarch who thanks us for bringing back the artifact and is disturbed by the presence of the shard far away from where it should have been. she then gives us the next quest of tracking down a fallen mage who dabbles in the art of rune stones and black arts and we travel down valleys and canyons battling through new hordes of demons and spirits and come across a strange altar guarded by great golem and after destroying it we find the mage responsible who taunts us and threatens us and then slips our grasp.
we report back to the matriarch who rewards us with a powerful gold armor for our companion which changes their appearance. And she tells us about her findings on the shard and the tomes - that the shard we picked up was a part of the worldstone and it was cleaved from it before baal's corruption and is now being charged and used to open a portal to draw out hell's power. Fearing that this will disturb the world's balance and may even put all our efforts to the dust, the final quest is to kill the mage before he finishes the ritual that would make him as strong as a prime evil, we set out to make sure all to prevent the rise of a new evil and save the honour of the order of assassins.
If we get a new type of mercernary similar to assains that would be cool too, well this is what i dreamed about, though i know making even this plain story into reality will need a lot of work and more depth is also needed to make it more fun.
So whats your imagination about act 6 if there will ever be one.......please share your thoughts
