Ideal Merc-Wear?
I have a WW/Zerk Ebotd Great poleaxe using barbarian, and I want to use an act 2 merc with him.
What I need to know is:
Which aura would be best? Holy Freeze? Might?
What equip should I aim for?
I'm thinking a cresent moon something or other (%chance to cast static field), shaft + maybe a gaze...but will his resists be high enough to tank in hell baal runs with that stuff?
Basically, I want him to be able to tank hell baals in full games without dying too much. So he'll need good resists and DR...also, should I replace the shaft with a high def armor, like stone runeword? (is sacrificing 30% DR for more def worth it?)
If anyone knows these questions and can help me, or at least point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
