Note: PMH does not work on mercs.

I assume PMH = Prevent Monster Heal. Are you sure ?
I've been under the impression my merc has been handling this!

PMH DOES work on a merc. Just try killing Diablo Clone with something like a meteor sorc without a merc using PMH. You almost can't do it. Then put PMH gear on your merc and watch the clone fall.
