Ias in weapon vs armor

Hi, I'm currently making a zeal pally with fanaticism and I'd like to know if there is a difference between ias in armor and ias in a weapon. One site said that to hit the 4 zeal frame, I would need a total of 65% ias (when fana is maxed), if i were to use heaven's light as my weapon. So im wondering whether i should socket my weapon with ias jewels or 2 enhanced dmg jewels instead, because on ladder it costs too much to get ed/ias jewels. I think i would prefer to socket my armor with the ias jewels(3) and put the ED jewels in my weapon. Also, if i put enhanced dmg jewels in my armor... does it give me the same amt of dmg as when i put it in a weapon?

Ias is easier to put in a weapon because the easy to find shael rune gives more than a jewel can give.

Heaven's Light is a base ZERO weapon so it needs 60% IAS anywhere with lvl 20+ Fanaticism to reach 4 FPS zeal.

65IAS is wrong... for over 2 years now and Diabloii.net still havent change the damn thing.

ok so since shael gives you 20 ias in a weapon:

20 from glove, 40 from weapon is your best option. that is saying sh is right - but i wouldnt question him.

Actually most people use 30/80 CoA + ZodLo Etheral Heaven + whatever glove.

But a DC or Deemer will just eat it...

i dont think he'll be using a zodlo eth heaven if he cant afford ed/ias jewels... i gave him a good cheap option

well.... im not as rich as strength_honor thinks or as poor as leader_returns believes, im in between =P. Im actually gonna be using 2/24/14 coa, 48/24 levi, ss, 2/+3/297 heavens, perf. tgods, perf. dracs, goreriders, perf. raven, 439/35/311 metagrid, and a rare mana leech ring. Although, now I'm thinking about using guardian angel instead of the levi cuz i just read that 50% dmg red. is the max? Could you tell me if this is true? If thats the case, i might as well give my defiant merc my levi. Also is a defiant merc lvled from normal more powerful than one that you buy from hell?

last question. Does enhanced dmg jewels put in armor do the same amount of dmg as enhanced dmg jewels added in a weapon? If so, ill just socket my heaven's with 2 shaels and put the ed jewels in my armor. Thx
