I need someone that's great in melee duels to duel me. I need to make a choice between two types of weapons. I'm in nay3///4 now, it would be great is someone came to melee duel me.

This is a strange thread, sort of like the player matchup type of thread but not to full extent :smiley:

Did anyone join that game? It might be a better idea to post both items and your build in the thread so that more people can comment. Not to mention that you are by no means guaranteed that an expert joined/will join your game.

Also, melee duels are pretty biased on a few factors. I'd bet money on a zealot unless a fury/rabies druid came along with near perfect gear so you'd almost have to have duels only between specific classes.

It's between a Lo'd fools mod PB with 170-200 damage, and a perfect eth Botd zerker. I also wanted to know if there is a AR breakpoint or a AR cap. I'll post screenshots of the PB later when I get home.

This could help.

Just enter WW level and Mastery level as 0 and then put all your skill increased attack rating into the %AR from gear box.

there is no such thing as ar break point.
the only thing that should in a sense determine your ar is the chance to hit, you want that to be as high as possible , the formula is
cth%=[ar/(ar+def)]*[2*alvl/(alvl+tlvl)]*100
ar= attack rating
def = your opponents defense
alvl= attacker lvl
tlvl= target (opponent) lvl

I vote for both, its nice to have several different setups. As far as I know there isn't an AR breakpoint, as for a cap I guess you can never have more than a 95% chance to hit. here is the chance to hit formula if you want to take a look.

I have a couple zealots I use for melee duels, if you want a test duel. I'm usually on *shupe0 these days.

WW isn't melee.
Use EBotD. The Phase Blade isn't that good.

The Pb gives me a great AR boost, which allows me to hit very often. The botd on the other hand, it gives me a great damage boost, but I don't hit as often. I need someone to melee duel. Is there a ladder for melee?

the pb is lacking an ias mod...

PB is a -30 base weapon. With Zeal and Fana, all you need is 15% more IAS with that PB to hit the max zeal breakpoint (4 frames).

yes, i run into the same problem all the time.
but i'm just assuming things at this point. if you were on west, i'd give you a run for your money...but alas.

See, I asked about the AR cap because I have 28k AR, I just wanted to know what weapons suited me better. Are you able to melee duel me?

and sorry, i thought the pb was for a druid, not a paladin
