I know everyone hates these kind of threads, and I havent posted much lately, been overwhelmed with stress and on top of that final schoolwork for the end of the semester.

But im just wondering if im respected here for the few times I posted over the past month.
Post more and then you will probably find your answer without even the need to ask.

I am willing to go through the trouble of a name change if it means that more people will like me...how about raoul? I always liked that name.
You the man Raoul!

Ah, I like to joke about being scared to death of all Daves. Every Dave I have met has been either very eccentric, plain creepy or *gulp* I can't even post what the last Dave did to me!

This may be a forum, but try to make the exception of my list of disturbing Daveness.

I haven't noticed you post :undecided:

Though I only ever notice the regular posters and people visiting from ETF anyway.

I must begin by echoing the sentiments already offered by the previous replies. This need to bond you are exhibiting neatly sets you into a certain personality type that may or may not mix well with some of our members. With that said.....

I choose to reserve judgement since you haven't been fully assimilated yet. There is a bit of a learning curve associated with this forum and I would like to see how you progress before I comment futher.

Somebody should say it, so I will. It's not very healthy to need approval so badly or to be compelled to seek it out in this manner. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we dislike you or anything, just that you might want to take a long look at what motivated you to make a thread like this.

As for me, I don't know you well enough to make any kind of a real judgement, but I would put you on the positive side of neutral.

But don't we all, every now and then, appreciate being told we're actually wanted?
Or is that just insecure me?

If you really want to be wanted, just pretend you are a woman. You will be getting tons of attention in no time.

I hate you, SD.

Not true.
Oh Viv, your eyes are like sapphires, your mouth rubies and your skin finest alabaster... your presence lights up the vastest room, like a beam of purest moonlight... when you speak, it is the music of the angels themselves...

Just start heart wrecking + mind boggling relationship threads. That's the best way to build rapport in this community. Trust me, I know.

Also if you know how to juggle and handle boobies, drink lots of beer and never NEVER say anything that will make you look like an insensitive fool, you'll be fine.

Back on topic. I don't know you but I usually think that everybody's great, until they start not being great.

start a club...there are plenty of h8ters here...you could make a fortune collecting the membership dues...you just need a catchy club name.
The No Superdaves club? It's also nice because it means we're still allowed to have one.

Well, of course we do. Everyone likes to feel appreciated now and then. I don't think it is healthy to crave it though or to seek it out in certain places/ways. I'm no different than anyone else in that I enjoy it when someone responds to a post of mine and makes it clear I'm contributing something valuable or amusing them. I think seeking out interaction of that sort is only human; we all like validation, but like anything else it's about moderation.
