If you took a screenshot of his account name when he left the game, mail it to Blizzard. But I doubt it will do any good.

That sucks. If it felt sketchy, why did you do it? Try to get someone you trust to mod a trade like that. If the other person says no then they are most likely trying to scam you.

Nobody will help you, even if you have screenshots. They can be manipulated, so they aren't a proof for anything.

If it happened in these forums, report him to a mod. If that guy will be involved into further incidents, he might get banned, but it won't give you back your BK ring.

    beemander-

The realms can often be mean places. Never drop trade with anyone there. Here is a link to a compilation I made on the different scams out there. Review it so you don't get scammed out of a precious uniq again, let alone your entire account.

If someone hacks into you thru the free item or hack program scam method, do they receive the passwords to all of your accounts or just the one that you were using?

As far as I know, there is no way to determine which other accounts are yours - so it is highly likely that they can only receive the password of the account you were using.

Trying to tell us something?... :uhhuh:

Indeed. Gix, that is actually a quite important tidbit I forgot to mention. As I said, it can't find the accounts you didn't use when the program was installed. But when I said "didn't use", I really meant "didn't use". At all. Every account name and password you typed in at the time the program was installed, could be detected. This is easily overlooked, so take care.
