I don't get how Stone gives free synergy to FC??

I don't get how Stone gives free synergy to FC??

I know that charges synergize the skills. Though wouldn't you be restricted to putting points into Firestorm since putting one point into Molten Boulder would make the bug not work? You would need to put one point into Molten Boulder to max other skills further on such as Fissure.

Am I getting something wrong here?

You got it right...It's just that if you use Stone you free up some points for other things like Lycanthropy and Werebear, while still maintaining decent Fireclaws damage.

You got it. Using stone limits you fireclaws damage because you can only max firestorm and are granted a lvl 16mb. This allows you to max lycanth, wb, maul, spirit, summons at the expense of a very high fc damage. If you want to maximize your fc, don't use stone and just max as many synergies as possibly.

Oh thanks for the quick replies. I think the dmg for the FC would be pretty low. Though the bear itself would be a pretty good tank with max Lycan/Werebear/Oak

lv 35 fireclaw with 20 firestorm and 16 molten = 5717-6226 dmg

I've found most stone users are maul / fc users ... but i guess you could go all fc w/ stone too i reckon.

I agree with Voice here this is more for a hybrid maul/fc bear. If you really want to go pure fc there are better options.

Not really, I sacrifice damage for life if it's elemental based. If people are going to resist you to hell as it is you may as well make the best of it and make sure you are around for a while by tanking things. Facets do wonders.

this is true ... i guess it all depends on your setups etc. I hit 5.6k life on my old fc bear and he didnt have wb or oak maxed (one in each i think maybe 4-5 in wb), so decent life can be gotten w/ a decent setup w/o sacrificing damage.

Then again w/ that setup if i went the other route I could of probably gotten close to 10k life w/ 5k damage.

All depends I guess on whatcha want and what kind of gear you can afford I reckon. I still think if going pure fc I would go w/ CoH over stone. But that just my opinion.
