Agree. Making Goku a scrawny white dude is no way to do the anime.

to be fair, goku was a kid in the anime, would you rather a skinny kid or a child with its high voice and crying be the star?

Anyone remember "Cheaper by the Dozen"? It was "based" (says so in the credits) on a book by the same name. Except that anyone who read the book would know that ONLY THE FRICKIN' TITLE WAS BASED ON THE BOOK. Oh, and the part about having 12 kids. But Steven Martin's character is NOT the father in the book, nor is the mother in the movie based on the mother in the book, nor the kids, ect.
At least with Dragon Ball they decided to keep the names and make an attempt at costumes and props, even if they completely changed everything else.

It wouldn't be so bad if the movies were actually good in and of themselves, but 95% of the time, they just aren't even worth renting.
Well, at least there is one positive thing to say about this movie. It isn't being made by uwe boll.

Yeah this movie looks like crap, and will probably not be very good, but I'm still going to pay to watch it because it's friggen' Dragonball.
Also, Chow Yun Fat is awesome.
