Yeah that's right, I bought it, and you know what, I don't even regret it!

Gamestop was selling the new expansion, Nightfall, for $25, so I went ahead and bought that and Prophecy. My roommate has had it for a while now, so he's been leading me through the Nightfall campaign. I'm a Minion Master, and I gotta say, it's a lot of fun.

Yayyy! whisper "Bermuda Blue" (I think that will work no matter which charcter I'm on, but if it doesn't try "Rishiri Orange") and I'll do stuff with you.

Joining the huge mass of people doing 40-man raids, where you go from being a person to a role. AKA healer, tank, etc.
Because God knows, you can't start up WoW without being sucked into a 40-man right off the bat.

Besides, Guild Wars will suck up all your time too . . .

. . . for the first 5 hours you play it. Then you'll be tired of it.

There aren't even 40 man raids anymore, all the high level raids are 25 man now. And anyway, the vast majority of WoW players are still on the level 70 5-mans and Kara (10 man).

Not only that, but WoW is very solo-friendly, whereas Guild Wars definately isn't. =)

I've soloed all of Guild Wars Nightfall. 4 times. Heroes have made it much easier to solo.

However, if you want to get into the groups for the toughest areas of the game (and I don't, it's not worth it for different skins) you'd better have one of the handful of accepted builds.

In my opinion: Guild Wars is better for the casual gamer with limited and/or sporadic opportunity to play. WoW is better for the Avid gamer that doesn't mind the requisite time commitment. If you are somewhere in the middle it comes down to preference and/or cost. Both are great games in their own way, but I fall squarely into the casual player camp, so I chose GW.

I've played it for much longer than 5 hours and I'm still into it. I find it funny that after awhile a message will pop up saying, "You have been playing for 6 hours. Please take a break."

Do just what exactly are you offering to do with me, Merick? ;)

But in all seriousness, I'll message you.
