I Appreciate Diablo

I just wanna say, I'v played alot of games and diablo is my favorite gaming franchise and I know Diablo 3 will be better than diablo 2, my freinds played diablo 1, I started playing diablo 2 and must say it's my favorite game for it's time. Another small detail I'm greatfull for is the male and female gender to be available for all classes and I love not having tons of customization such as hair,eye color,bald,beard,skin color, etc. Having to much customization ruins a game,not for WOW so much,and you can pay to change it,but games like city of heroe's/guild wars. I just don't like having to many character appearance customization,some customization is good,but not to much,In Guild Wars and City of Heroes I just couldn't be satisfied and recreated characters over and over, made gaming like work instead of fun also with the ability to have titles like in guild wars,woops,i died at lvl 19,lets start over . I agree, the titles in Guild Wars really make me angry butu I enjoy the gameplay over all, its similar to diablo with the endless clicking and stuff, you know what I mean? But still, Diablo is without a doubt the greatest game franchise to date, or at the very least the greatest 2 piece franchise, I mean it is difficult to compete with a 13 part series like final fantasy or a 4 part series like the elder scrolls when it comes to story, but Diablo is without a doubt the best for play, beautifully simple and yet just so satisfieing.

Well, Diablo 3 is the game for you then

I don't like having too much customization too, but I like the idea where we can customize our items and equipments instead, so that no 2 items will look the same.

Just look at D2, a typical hammerdins uses an enigma, hoto, hoz and shako. Clones :whistling:

The best part about D2 is that it can compete with the franchises like the final fantasys because each of the FF's is a game in itself.

D2 is the greatest game of all time hands down IMO and it can get old, but if you take a break its refreshing and new all over again. each char you make is new and unique to that char its amazing and this is why I love and hate this forum. Its easy to love because people share the same feelings I do, but dislike them (not hate) at the same time because the people who love D2 are criticizing D3 without a finished product. unfair.

Cant wait to play D3, its going to be amazing

Well, in my case the day has yet to come that a game can top the Civilization series, Alpha Centauri, Doom, SimCity, Myth, X-Com, Baldur's Gate, or Warcraft 2, in no particular order.

But Diablo 2 does come right after these.
