Loosen up, get lots of rest. If you are tense your turns and stops will be jerky. If you are tired you won't do what they want you to do fast enough.

It really isn't that big of a deal, if you can get on the highway you can do anything they want you to in the test, you drive through neighborhoods.

    There's alot more to it.
Like, for instance paralell parking, which I suck ass at. Especially since I am doing it in a Mini Van... and not a little Van, a big one. EEK, I am so nervous.
For uncontrolled intersections, if I don't do the right of way thing fast enough, because I am bad at that, should I just slow down for EVERY uncontrolled intersection? Cuz that would make sense in my mind.

If you do well enough on everything else you don't have to do parallel parking, my sister skipped it.

All you ever needed to know about uncontrolled intersections. I doubt they will dock you points for slowing down, just don't slow down too much and don't stop(unless you are avoiding a wreck or something)

Before you keep dispensing advice, you do realise that van and you live in completely different countries, and thus the rules may be very different?

I remembered he was in Canada, but we have had Canadian drivers test stories before . . . didn't seem to differ to much except for your crazy license naming(there are 3 levels right?)

Here's some universal advice, which has helped me pass all the flight tests for my pilot ratings.

Your instructor would not have turned you loose for the test if you weren't ready. (Unless he's really a dick). Instructors (for airplanes, and probably cars too) are required to maintain a certain percentage "pass rate" on their students, so it's in their interest to not let you take the test until you're ready.

With that being said, realize that you have already passed the test. Only, it didn't count because you didn't pass it in front of the proper authority. But you've already done it... just do it one more time. your instructor likely held you to the same standards the examiner will, and if you passed with your instructor... the rest is obvious.

I am generally nervous about stuff like that but when it came to it I was fine. I had driven for 2+ years before my test so I was able to relax and I passed easy. So, just relax... it's not the end of the world if you fail so don't getr yourself all screwed up over it.

    GOOD LUCK!
