    Hybrid elementalist viable for pvm?

I got my windy up to lvl86 and now I'm really bored. I want to try something new or less common. I read some posts about fire/wind druid. It seems to be less powerful but more versatile and funny. So lemme see...

    20 hurricane
    20 tornado
    10-15 Cyclone
    20 volcano
    20 armageddon / fissure (?)
rest in oak (IF i have some spare points lol)

I know I´ll have weaker fire and wind spells..but you know..it's a video game lol

I checked the gear I have muled around so I came to this:
*the (?) means that I'm not sure about it*

    jalals
ormus robes [it gives % to fire/cold spells and 20% fcr] / vipermagi (?)
    natalyas/aldurs/silkweaves (?)
    magefist
    raven
    ring #2 (?)
    glooms trap
    maras / rare druid ammy / 3 elemt ammy +24 str (?)
    stormshield
    wizardspike

    so what do you think?
    I need some input
    tks in advance

    this is ladder btw.

EDIT: oops...It was supposed to be posted in the "dual elementalist.." thread. I made a new thread by accident. sorry about it :(

Shako (mana life, reduce, no need for resist)
Upgraded vipermagi (100% fcr with this, +1 skill better)
    aldurs (frw, dtm, life, etc)
    Upgraded magefist
    soj
soj (doesnt matter really but soj is best unless you want wisp proj)
    Tal's Belt (stats and dtm)
    3 elemt ammy +24 str
    Ryhme Shield
    wizardspike

    resist in hell with wizzy(75), vipermagei(low 25), anya (30) you'f be at 30%.

    Max fire with ALdurs
    Max COld with SS
    55% Lit with SS
    30% psn.
    Should be good.

    20 hurricane
    20 tornado
    10 Cyclone
    20 volcano
    5 Molten Boulder
    15 armageddon
1 oak (IF i have some spare points lol)

try looking at my thread about hybrid elementalists - yeah it's titles "super-expensive" I was trying to be ironic considering all the stupid pure windys that want to be so godly.

hybrids are way more versatile than pure windys and have the ability to actualy kill faster and play through the game faster as well. As a hybrid you have acess to molten boulder early in the game, while hte windy's are meleeing all the way to lvl 25. A lvl 40 hurricane with max wind synergies is NOT going to do enough damage to effectively kill physical immunes in hell. It'll do it sure, but not before they have made you eat half of your full rejuves. The ability to lay down a fissure/volcano while having hurricane slow things down, and tornados to spam at the non phys immunes actually maks this a valid killing machine for the whole game- not just for pure pvp players.

to top it off you can still get tornados up past 3k damage with an 8k armageddon. And armageddon actually kills things! whereas hurricande is just a "look pretty" skill in hell. (okay it makes norm and nm a cakewalk sure).

hey, darn i started one of these guys and wanetd to write the guide! lol
I call him a Crack Fiend Druid because he will basically cast constantly and have up to 3 timered spells going all at once and try to hug the merc while he's fighting. The guy will have a light show going and be waving his arms frantically.

I've put one point in raven (for the blind effect) which seems to be a waste now but I'm hoping +skills will power it up. I've also got 1 pt in each vine, and I'm trying to do without OS but I think after I get at least +6 all skills I may need to put just one point in.

My planned skills are very similar:

8-10 fissure and Cyclone Armor (for duration synergy, and their own uses)
    10 volcano
    20 geddon
    20 hurricane
    10 tornado
    leaves a little room..

    probably a holy freeze merc
probably going for max or at least 50% block because this is the kind of build that benefits from being very close to the fray

I'm not really sure about everything tho, i've been changing my mind. When I get a little farther along I will report on my experiences.

I had a wind druid BEFORE the patch (when it was called a Storm Druid) and deleted him shortly after the patch came out, when it was clear that windys would be one of the major cookie cutters of 1.10.

look, I have max hurricane and sinergy in my windy and it's damage is not worth it (in hell at least). So I think I better max tornado and CA and put less points in hurricane so I´ll have more points left to fire and oak. What do yo think?
