How To Stop Spam Bots In Games!

Attention: When a spam bot joins your game, instantly attempt to do a trade window with that character. By doing so it will crash/drop (You must do this until it crashes/drops).

This has worked for me, and numerous players who have attempted this same task.
Please continue to stop these spam bots until they constantly crash so bnet can detect the proxies and ban their asses -.-.

No offence, but in the end that just gets more tiring than hearing the spam. It's not like this is going to stop them. I just create games with a level restriction and they hardly bother me this way.

Someone claimed to have seen a bot dead in the moo moo farm. I can't imagine a method that would get them in there.(Someone thought the red portal opened in just the right spot...but I doubt that. Those bots stand pretty still)

Really wish it were possible to 'collide' with characters in town and move them around. Now that'd be fun. "The Adventures of SoulTorn and the Travelling SpamBot!"(Followed, of course, by "The ALL NEW Adventures of SoulTorn and the Travelling SpamBot!)

    ....I need sleep.

Hostiling does this too, I've noticed. Just gotta be careful not to accidentally hostile some innocent soul in your game.

People use mules and retired characters for bots. They can be any level. The best way to deal with bots is to not give a damn. Blizz dosent care about bots. Bots have been around bnet as long as its been bnet...bots populate all parts of bnet and its apparent blizz could care less.

A nice person in this forum gave me a good tip about how to drop the bots: click invite, cancel, invite, cancel... etc like a madman. Haven't tried this yet, but it may work.

I have found that clicking anything quickly over and over is a very bad idea. Unless you like being banned from bnet.

Yeah, didn't someone get a 24 hour ban by clicking one of the seals over and over again?

Actually there IS one way to stop the bots: create passworded games. Gather a few friends and you don't need the public games.
