How to make Sockets on Weap/Arm?

I have been using the following two formulas, but it doesn't work for me.

1 Ral Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Normal Weapon

1 Tal Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Topaz + Normal Body Armor

What am I doing wrong?

Are they "Superior" White weapons/armor? :scratchchin:
[iirc] These cannot be socketed with the cube.

Yes, one of them is -ETH* Superior Great Poleaxe (13%ed / imd 13% / 0os).

So the only way is to use he Socketed Act 5 quest?

Yep, you can't cube socket superiors. And Larzuk always gives max amount of sockets, should be 6 in your case
