How To Get Rid of Last Season's Ladder Items (USWest)

Hello, fellow D2 players.

I have a ton of stuff from last ladder reset. Specifically, I have about forty mules of accumulated items. Because I don't play non-ladder (and consequently, have no use for the items), I'm looking for the best way to get rid of these items to the handful of enthusiasts who still play non-ladder. However, I also don't wish to undercut the few NL enthusiasts who still play this game, and are looking for items.

Just so that you have an exact idea of how much we're talking about, one of my rune mules from last reset has 40 Ums (these and Pul dropped like candy), 28 Ists (basic trading unit), 2 Ohms, 4 Vexes, a Ber and some other assorted mid-level runes (Gul, Mal) Granted the low-level "money" runes probably aren't altogether that useful anymore, but I'd imagine the higher runes have some demand, and I have a number of very rare ladder items that are also available.

I don't see a "giveaway" thread in any of the respective forums (USWest NL Trading) or I'd use that. Let me know how you think I should handle this.

As you can see, I'm not a complete stranger to the forums, and I have very positive trade feedback, so I'm pretty reliable. Thanks in advance.

40 mules and you barely have any Hrs at all? What have you been collecting? I would just create game call "FREE STUFF", and drop items in there and have people come to that game and pick them up. If you drop your stuff slowly over a 1 hour period, you'll surely be helping out lots of people.

If you prefer to give stuff to people in this forum only, just make a password game and post in this forum and drop stuff there.

And the fastest way would be to give me your login details.

Okay, I'll entertain you

A number of the mules are gems or crafting runes. As you may or may not know, Blood Items and Caster Items were extremely popular, and complete sets of crafting materials (Rubies, Amethysts and the appropriate low-level runes) were highly valuable. Also, generic P-gems could be used to reroll charms both small and grand, of which I still have a number of extremely high quality charms.

I also rolled more than a few high rune words, particularly CtA, with varying degrees of success. I purchased number of annis (I have many, several of which are 18+/18+/10), and spent the money on items that I intended to use. I also have a number of extremely high quality rares and crafts that are valuable enough that I might try and actively unload them. Additionally I have a massive hoarding problem so at least a few of the mules are just silly things of marginal note.

My post, however, was not about how much wealth I have, but rather how I can efficiently give away the not-insignificant amount of wealth I accumulated without offending the NL traders who are active on this forum. If you have better advice then "dump it all on the ground or give me all your passwords," then I'm all ears.

Since the ladder is quite new - you might be able to trade some of your high-end NL stuff for Ladder items? I've seen this happen a few times.

It would take more time but it is possible.
