How to get diablo2 not in fullscreen

I was just wondering how to get diablo2 to where its not full screen, so i could see my desktop also.

check the properties of your desktop icon and where it shows diablo and bunch of writing put a space and put -W after it and you'll have your game running in windows mode

looked like:
"C: \Games\d2 1.07\Diablo II.exe -w -ns"

Make that into:
"C: \Games\d2 1.07\Diablo II.exe" -w -ns

I don't know why people like windowed. I've always perfected full screen.

I'm not using it for playing, but for muling. It makes it much easier if you are using two copies of the game (and game keys, of course!) together with virtualization software.

Make that into:
"C: \Games\d2 1.07\Diablo II.exe" -w -ns

If you play on bnet, also add -skiptobnet, so you don't have to click through the starting screens and go to the login screen immediately.
